The fact that the company Smok decided to return to the segment of box-mods can not but rejoice, because vapers, frankly speaking, already missed the traditional devices. Naturally, it is impossible to say that SCAR-18 Mod is a revolutionary device, but the fact that it is an ordinary box mod, rather than a hybrid, is pleasing. In any case, the vaper will get a pretty good mod that will be a great replacement for the old devices.
Smok SCAR-18 Mod is made very well – it is a traditional rectangular device with rounded edges, so it sits perfectly in your hand. The device can hardly be called a miniature 54 * 30.6 * 88 mm, but it can safely install atomizers with a diameter up to 28 mm. It is decorated quite brightly and originally, as in addition to the metal it uses inserts imitating leather, resin and stabwood.
An important feature of the new box mod Smok SCAR-18 Mod is that the manufacturer has made it protected from water, dust and shock, so the body meets the IP67 standard.
Maximum power box mod 230 watts, and it is provided by two conventional batteries 18650, which are installed under the flip cover (how the manufacturer provides a reliable seal and whether it is at all is a question). If necessary, you can charge the batteries with a current of 1.3A through the connector micro-USB, located on the side surface and closed with a silicone plug.

TFV9 Tank has a traditional bottom air blow, with the possibility to adjust it by rotating the ring located at the base of the tank.
Filling is quite usual for the tanks of this series the top cap is simply removed by a circular motion, opening access to a fairly large filling hole.
Conclusions and impressions
Despite the fact that there is nothing special in Smok SCAR 18 Box Kit, it can surely replace morally and physically outdated box mods and tanks. Vaper gets a productive starter kit with a good reliable box mod and tank, which is able to please with excellent taste and bulk.
