The production of vape devices by vape companies is very much like a cold war – each company is trying to get ahead of the competition and release a device that will not only interest the end customer, but also make him buy his favorite tank, drip, sub-mod or POD system. But from time to time manufacturers revise previously released devices in order not only to remind themselves (there are dozens of such examples), but also to take advantage of proven ideas and name. Eleaf decided to continue the well-known iStick series once again and presented this legendary box mod in a mini version called Mini iStick 2 kit.

General data

Eleaf Mini iStick 2 kit is a starter kit consisting of a compact box mod, powered by a built-in medium-capacity battery, and a small GS Air 4 Tank, designed to work with GS series vaporizers. The new box mod is truly miniature, with the distinctive lines of the iStick series. Despite its compact size this device is equipped with full control and can be used in varivatt and varivolt modes. The new tank is also small, but at the same time it is functional, it uses interchangeable vaporizers of GS series, provides adjustable airflow and removable drip tip. The Eleaf Mini iStick 2 kit is available in four colors gray, green, pink and black.

Mini iStick 2 Mod Box Mod

Hardly anyone would argue about the fact that the most famous series of Eleaf devices is iStick, and this series was launched by the company at the beginning of its work, and to this day the devices of this series are in demand. Last year the company was somehow not very active in the development and release of new devices, but this year has already been marked by several interesting devices of iStick Pico series. A couple of years ago Eleaf company released Mini iStick, but now the developers have slightly redesigned this device, and the light saw Eleaf Mini iStick 2 kit.

Naturally, the main feature of the Eleaf Mini iStick 2 kit is its compact size (54*32.8*21.5 mm), which makes the device look slightly larger than a matchbox. At the same time, the design of the device has familiar lines of this series, one edge is semicircular, the other is flat, with a display placed on it. The device is not only small, but also light, as it is made of aluminum alloy, so it will not get in the way in your pocket (the main thing is not to lose it there).

The maximum power of the Eleaf Mini iStick 2 kit is 25 watts, and it is provided by the built-in 1050 mAh battery, not much, but given the miniature size and high resistance of the vaporizers used, the battery is able to provide autonomous work during the day. The battery is charged using the USB Type-C connector, located under the control buttons, with a current of 2A, and the time of a full charge will be about half an hour.

Despite the fact that the Eleaf Mini iStick 2 kit is very small, it is equipped with a rather interesting chip, thanks to which you can not only get a full set of protections, but also two modes of operation varivolt and varivatt, which is very good. The power supported by the chip is 1-25 watts. The device is equipped with a small monochrome display, which reflects the main parameters of the device power, coil resistance and battery charge level. The device can be activated either by pressing the fire button or by puffing.

GS Air 4 Tank atomizer

Specially for this box mod GS Air 4 Tank atomizer was developed. It is also made in small size (its diameter is 20 mm), but at the same time it is equipped with all the parameters typical for a regular tank – interchangeable vaporizers, airflow control, 510 connector and removable 510 drip tip.

GS Air 4 Tank atomizer is designed to use GS series vaporizers, which have been used by the company in other devices many times. At the moment, there are nine vaporizers of different resistance at the vaper’s disposal, so there is plenty to choose from.

The tank has a blowing adjustment, realized in the most traditional way by means of a rotary ring at the base of the atomizer.

GS Air 4 Tank atomizer can be presented in two versions standard and childproof. To refill the standard tank you simply unscrew the top cap and pour 2.5 ml of liquid, while the childproof version requires you to press the button, slide the cap in a straight line, insert the liquid spout into the hole provided with a curtain and pour 2 ml of liquid.

Conclusions and impressions

Eleaf Mini iStick 2 kit is a real find for vapers who want to get the most compact, but at the same time a full-fledged box mod with a vaporizer tank. This device, despite its small size, is a full-fledged analog of more powerful and large devices, for which we can give a special plus to the company’s developers.
