Symbiosis of several companies to create something really outstanding is quite common practice. In the world of electronic cigarettes this practice has also started to be applied and gives quite good results. Today I will tell you about a new creation of Limitless mods and IJOY, which is not the first time they release a joint device. Today we’ll talk about a new box mod called Lux, which is basically a work on the mistakes of their previous collaboration Limitless 200 W.

By its appearance we can make a statement that the design was done by Limitless mods, because they usually do it very well. australian vape shop brisbane This time their designers worked as well as always, because the device looks very beautiful, strict and laconic, especially the wood and leopard version. There is also a standard black version.

The internal design of the boxmod I also can not leave without attention. Boxmod consists of two parts, the main part, which consists of all the electronics, and the body, in which the main part is directly inserted.

The advantage of this design is that you can completely change the appearance of the device without replacing the box mod itself. Simply put, the case can be called a replaceable panel. So far there are only three housing options, but most likely the line will expand, and if not, then the Chinese know their stuff and will not miss the gold mine.

But what surprised me was that the box mod runs on two 26650 batteries, which is why the box mod turned out to be quite wide and heavy: 102x58x31 mm, weight 300g.

I spent a lot of time on the design, now it’s time to discuss the technical characteristics. YiHi and Evolv decided to abandon the board, which is not the most reasonable decision, and we will be content with the board from Iwepal, which can only be judged by further tests. It’s not the wisest decision to take a board from an almost unknown manufacturer, because it will scare off buyers. Thus, we have the performance characteristics only on paper:

The maximum power will be 215W, the maximum voltage will be 8V, the minimum atomizer resistance is 0.6 ohm. The operating modes are as follows: /VW/TC 300-600 F or 150-315 C(Ti/Ni/SS)/User mod. I don’t have the slightest idea what User mod is and I haven’t found any information yet. The box mod, as I already said, runs on two 26650 batteries, but you can also use 18650 thanks to the tubes we are already familiar with. By the way, heat-shrinkable 26650 batteries from IJOY are already included with the box mod, which is very good, considering that you can’t get them in every store. Holes for exhaust gases are, of course, provided. MicroUsb is present, but it is only suitable for updating the firmware.

It is very difficult to assess how good a box mod is, because there are not many box mods for two 26650 batteries yet, and this one looks more than sane. The only thing I’m not happy with is the board, for fairly obvious reasons.
