Is it really time for me to tell you about something new and stand out from the endless Velocity bases and copying each other’s designs. I won’t rant and will introduce you to a new guest – CIA BSC V2 RDA.
Let’s start, the old-fashioned way, with the appearance. To be honest, I haven’t decided yet whether I like it or not. On the one hand, I don’t remember something similar; on the other hand, it all looks a bit plain. Against the background of this incomprehensibility, a wide driptip with a transparent overlay and a huge number of blowing holes stand out, as if the dripper wanted to chop it into pieces with a katana. In the disassembly you can see the construction of the device in more detail. The drip consists of 4 parts: the base, the body of the evaporation chamber, another upper part of the body and the driptip (or driptop, call it what you want 🙂 ). In the disassembly it becomes clear that the main feature of the drip is the blowing, but that’s not all its charms.
First let’s talk about the base. It consists of a plus post in the center and solidly sharpened minus posts on the sides. The legs of the spiral are clamped by plates like Goon RDA, so there is plenty of space for your porn. Personally, I’m much happier with this base than with Velocity bases, except that it has a small disadvantage. It consists in the fact that very green beginners will probably not be completely comfortable to install spirals. But personally it doesn’t scare me at all. The depth of the well is not bad 6 mm, but due to the lower blowing the total volume is significantly reduced.
Here we come to the most interesting thing about the blowing. This drip combines three types of blowing at once: bottom, side and top. I don’t recall that I’ve ever seen such a combo. But in reality it all looks very simple.
Let’s start with the bottom airflow. It consists of two adjustable 6×2 mm holes, which go directly under the coil and are able to transmit a huge amount of flavor. It is adjusted by rotating the bottom part of the body relative to the base.
Now the side blowing. It is presented in the form of four holes (two identical ones above the smaller one) with the size of 9×1,5 mm. With fully open side blowing the drip is able to cope with very high power and produce an unrealistically huge amount of vapor. Side blowing is regulated by turning the upper part of the body.
And now let’s talk about the top airflow. The air starts in the top side holes, which are 9×1.5mm in size, and then passes through 8 holes of 2mm each and gets to the coil from above. It serves to blow the spirals more evenly. Also, by completely blocking the bottom and side blowing, you get full protection from splashes. Some people are more satisfied with this option than others. The top airflow is adjusted by turning the drip tip.
Thus, we have 6 variations of blowing: top, bottom, side, top+bottom, top+side, side+upper. This way you can play around with the blower settings and search for zen until the end of time. If I’m not mistaken, this is the first drip with three fully and independently functioning airflow types at once.
The box with the kit looks quite simple, and sparse, it includes the drip itself and a repair kit. For the price the device costs, I expected to see a nicer box, or at least a vapeband 🙁
It’s time to summarize the results. CIA BSC V2 RDA is a very interesting and multifunctional device, which can take you a long time to find zen. Despite the 22mm diameter, the base is able to accommodate quite serious windings. What impresses me most of all, of course, is the blowing variations. You can use it for flavorchasing, claudchasing, or open the airflow fully and just sip the air 😀
The device is more suitable for those who know a little bit about vaping, it’s all about the unusual base for most people, and variations of blowing, a beginner will probably just get confused in the blowing settings.
But, in fact, with such a blowing this drip can replace you absolutely all devices, for this reason and such a price, plus everything, before this I have not seen anything like this on the market.
