Today’s review will be about a new member of the growing ESPION battery pack family from Joyetech, or more precisely, a whole set of the ESPION Tour 220W box and CUBIS Max tank.
The set comes in a fairly large package, mainly consisting of a dust jacket with a print of the color setup that is inside. On the front side, in addition to the image, there is also the name of the device, an insert with an illustration of the CUBIS Max heating element and the inscription Innovative NCFilm Heater, and my set, according to the good old tradition, is also decorated with a Sample | Not for sale sticker. On the back, you can find a list of the equipment, an indication of the maximum power of the box mod and the parameters of the charging current. If the tank came with a familiar set of instructions in several languages, then with the mod it is only in English, it is clear that this is only a pre-release version and devices with different translations will go on sale. The ESPION Tour mod, in my opinion, turned out to be simply magnificent. Yes, it is plastic, yes, the box is light, but it does not create the impression of a child’s toy either in the hand or when using. Like some others. The device is very pleasant to use, not least due to its compact size and very convenient shape of the case and competent arrangement of elements. The board works quickly, the controls are familiar and intuitive, there are all sorts of settings in all modes, nothing has been forgotten. There is fast battery charging, resistance support from 0.05 Ohm and high current output, you can vape sub-ohm coils on the ESPION Tour. The main thing is not to forget about good batteries. Minor complaints include the too protruding positive contact in the connector and the lack of an elementary tape for removing cans from the battery compartment. But these little things did not spoil the overall impression. I am very pleased that Joyetech, after a series of frankly dubious box mods, rolled out such wonderful devices as the ESPION Tour and ULTEX T80.
