Many manufacturers, even those famous for their undisputed hits, often release passable products. Today’s review is dedicated to one set of the VOOPOO VMATE 200W box mod and the UFORCE T1 Starter Kit tank from the famous Chinese Voopoo.

VOOPOO VMATE 200W & UFORCE T1 Starter Kit packaging

The device arrives in a rather massive box with a schematic image of the box mod and its name on the cardboard packaging. The color of the device can be found on a separate sticker on the side, the list of the package contents and the check for originality, as usual, are on the back. It is worth mentioning separately about the packaging that it differs from the version for Europe by the absence of a large inscription about the harm of nicotine. vape mods australia This is important, because ours contains a tank with an enlarged glass, and the TPD version has a tank reduced to 2 ml.

The manufacturer has supplied the kit with good equipment, we can say that we have everything necessary to start the device here, you only need liquid and two batteries.

The kit consists of two devices independently developed by the manufacturer. You don’t need to study the devices closely to find similarities with models that have long existed on the market. The box mod is a fairly typical attempt to create a powerful and compact dual-battery battery unit with a central connector, the atomizer is a tank with a decent selection of various evaporators that is as close as possible to modern trends. Looking ahead, it must be said that both devices are interesting in their own way, although they are not without drawbacks.

Appearance and design of the UFORCE T1 Tank

Let’s start with the tank, which decorates the entire design. The complete atomizer in this kit will always be only one option, the so-called B-Silver, i.e. black and silver, where the body is steel in color, and the rings with fairly sharp knurling are painted black: one on the lid, the second is the airflow adjustment ring.

The atomizer itself can also be purchased separately from the mod, and in this case the choice is very wide and includes as many as 18 options. The atomizer can be chosen painted in various combinations with a colorful drip tip made of Resin.

Impressions and conclusions

Appearance of Voopoo UFORCE T1It’s worth saying just a few words about the tank, I liked it much more than the mod. The UFORCE T1 Tank atomizer is a device that is quite in line with modern trends, although it was released almost a year ago. It has a convenient slider refill, a large selection of volumes due to replaceable glasses, a decent variability of color solutions and a variety of replacement parts. It’s a pity that it is not reliably known whether it is possible to use coils from other manufacturers, and if so, which ones. But there is a serviceable base, although it is unclear where to buy it. Yes, there is nothing new or extraordinary, but this is not an outright fail. The VMATE box, on the contrary, seemed like a very dubious device. The device fries well (sub-ohm winding 0.09 Ohm on the dripper – without problems and overheating), works quickly, lies well in the hand and is generally quite pleasant in places. But only in places. Moreover, the dubiousness lies in the combination of a good appearance in the photo and a feeling of cheapness of the device in the hand. Such a unique impression is achieved due to wobbly plastic covers and rather wretched buttons, which also stick out unattractively above the case. There are big doubts about the durability of the coating of even the metal frame, because Voopoo still “couldn’t paint” their mods, the black “dredges” peel off catastrophically quickly. I won’t even mention the cheap plastic of the covers and protrusions. Plus, every time before taking the device in your hand, you must make sure whether you are going to press the right one. The case is symmetrical, the buttons are too, I constantly knock down the settings instead of just vaping. This does not add any convenience to the VMATE in use and sometimes causes rage. The praised (primarily by the manufacturer) microcircuit with a minimum response delay also irritates, especially when changing operating modes – while you switch to the next mode, you will have time to “fry” the winding twice. This “feature” of the GENE board irritated me even in the first DRAG. The menu and its organization over the year of “development” despite the increased screen has practically not changed, it is still the same scanty functionality, lacking some important settings – there is no power setting in TC (or I did not find it, sorry), there is no normal button lock (it is easier to turn off the electronics than to lock it like that), the board cannot show the current strength, digital battery charge and much more, which has long been available in almost all competitors. What are you picking on? – the inquisitive reader will ask. And the contrast is simply strong compared to DRAG, only a year ago it was possible to close your eyes to this, and after such a long time these are already obvious shortcomings. And for some reason this makes me very sad.
