Not long ago, I told you about a rather interesting and tasty dripper from WOTOFO and the famous reviewer Mike Vapes – RECURVE RDA. The company and the self-taught engineer did not interrupt their cooperation after the release of the first device and after a short time presented a new joint creation – a squonk mod with the same name RECURVE. As it becomes clear from the name, these two devices are simply intended for each other, and whether this is so and whether it worked out, see for yourself.

Wotofo has finally and irrevocably (for some time) changed the packaging design, now all products are sold in nice boxes with the dominance of black and green, it looks very nice and modern. Especially for Mike Vapes, the green parts of the packaging, with a bit of observation, fold into the inscription RECURVE, and especially for you, through a huge viewing window, you can determine the color of the device and its appearance without opening the package.
Almost all useful and not so useful information is located on the side edges: the contents of the package, warnings, the manufacturer’s address, logos, certificates, warnings and prohibitions, as well as stickers with the color of the device, a product barcode and authentication.
What’s in the box
The delivery set is not the richest, it contains the minimum necessary for using the mod: the mod itself, a charging cable, instructions in several languages, and two adapters for batteries with a diameter of 18 (black) and 20 (transparent) millimeters. vape websites australia Of course, I would like to see a second squonk bottle or a drip tip in the color of the device in the box, but what is not there is not there.
RECURVE Squonk Mod. Design
The appearance of the Recurve Mod cannot be called boring or hackneyed by all means. Compared to most squonks, which are different types of square boxes printed on a 3D printer, Recurve is the result of long design research. Judging from the outside, it looks like a harmoniously composed whole of four curved parts. Tactilely (i.e. to the touch) the coatings are matte, and the black parts even have a soft-touch effect, it is a pleasure to hold such a thing in your hands. A well-thought-out ergonomic shape adds to the pleasant sensations, the mod fits in the palm of your hand “like a glove” and pleases with a decent weight, all components are made of zinc alloy.
Regardless of the coloring, the top and detachable covers will always be black with a soft-touch coating.
The side parts of the mod, except for the design and curves, are unremarkable, except for the charging socket located at the top. This position of the hole is not the most convenient for regular use, but in the absence of a normal charger at hand, it will come in handy.
On the front end of the device there is a single button, responsible for both turning the mod on/off by pressing it five times, and for supplying current to the connector. The button stroke is small, about half a millimeter, very clear, accompanied by a quiet click. Despite its large size (25 * 18 mm), the button, or rather the “trigger”, is confidently pressed both in the center and at the very edges. Under the button there is an oval hole through which you will have to press the bottle to supply liquid, and there are also LED indicators.
At the top, the engineers placed a steel 510 connector with a spring-loaded copper squonk pin and a ring slightly protruding above the plane of the mod, which will protect the coating from scratches when screwing on the drip tip. On the bottom side, there are logos, a name and a couple of mandatory signs. There are also four barely noticeable legs that save the surface from scratches.

I just liked the RECURVE MOD, it does not have a single serious drawback, perhaps with the exception of a rather impressive weight, and even then this is not a disadvantage for everyone. The advantages of the board over pure mechanics are obvious to me, and even though it has power limitations, you’re not going to cloud chasing competitions with a squonk, are you? And for everyday use, such a board is much more practical, at least because you don’t have to worry about the cleanliness of the contact group and there is the possibility of emergency battery recharging.
